Use in model making

Translucent acrylic glass is often used for frosted glass surfaces, light fittings and light-diffusing facades in presentation models.

Processing

• Acrylic glass is easy to machine and can be cut or engraved with a CO2 laser.
• Cast acrylic sheets are particularly suitable for engraving, extruded sheets are better for cutting.
• Joining by bonding is possible.

Notes

• Do not clean acrylic glass with alcohol or solvents, as this can cause stress cracks.
• Thinner precision acrylic glass translucent is available as a separate product family.
